Steering Effort Too Hard When Vehicle Is Stationary
- Ensure battery voltage is present at terminal No. 3 (Green /White wire) at the 3-wire control unit connector. Ensure terminal No. 2 of 3-wire connector is grounded. Repair circuits as necessary.
- Electro/hydraulic converter or electrical circuit defective. Repair electrical circuit or replace converter.
- Converter dirty. Remove converter and clean with compressed air.
- Control unit defective. Connect both connectors to control unit. Connect test light to battery positive (B+) and to terminal No. 2 (Black /White/Yellow wire) of the 2-wire connector. Test light should light (light will be dim). If not, replace control unit.
