Contact Ring Operation

A continuous loop wire ribbon provides the electrical connection between steering wheel and steering column. This wire ribbon will coil and uncoil to ensure electrical contact when steering wheel is turned. Depending on model, new contact rings may come with lock screw to keep contact ring center position adjustment until installed to column or steering wheel.
