Differential Housing (Limited Slip)
- To reassemble differential housing, reverse disassembly procedure. Place diaphragm spring and thrust washer in case. Oil grooves of thrust washer should face up. Install in order; diaphragm spring, outer plate, inner plate, pressure ring and differential side gear in case. See Fig 1
.
- Install drive flanges. Check slip torque while holding one differential side gear and driving the other gear. Refer to the below AXLE ASSEMBLY SPECIFICATIONS
. Slip torque is adjusted with outer plates which are available in 3 different thicknesses.
