Hydraulic Brake Booster: Notes

On vehicles with hydraulic brake booster system, power steering fluid pressure is used to provide boost pressure for brakes. When the engine is running, power steering pump supplies hydraulic fluid under pressure to the power flow regulator and accumulator. The regulator and accumulator assembly stores and regulates pressure to the brake booster. Hydraulic booster is not repairable, and if faulty must be replaced.
