Parking Brake BOWDEN Cables: Manually

  1. Pull parking brake lever up six teeth and turn adjusting nuts until it is just possible to still turn rear wheels.
  2. Release parking brake lever. It must be possible to turn wheels easily.
  3. Switch on ignition. Indicator lamp must be switched off when parking brake is released.
  4. Pull to 1st tooth. There should be no braking effect but the indicator light may be on.
  5. Pull to 2nd tooth. Braking effect must begin. Indicator light must be on. Adjust switch contact on handbrake lever.
