Fuel Gauge Test

Remove tank access cover. Unplug sending unit lead (Brown/Yellow) and connect it to ground. Turn ignition on briefly. If gauge is okay, needle will move to "FULL" position. Sending unit may be defective. If not, check sending unit wire continuity. If wiring is okay, gauge is inoperative.
