Brake Lining Wear Warning Indicator Test

When testing this circuit, ensure fuse No. 6 is intact and that voltage at sensor is within one volt of battery voltage. Wear indicator will illuminate when wear sensor circuit opens. Circuit will open as disc rotor wears through sensor wire in brake pad. Sensors are an integral part of brake pads.
