Brake Booster: Removal
- Draw off brake fluid with a syringe which is used exclusively for brake fluid.
- Pull off plugs.
- Pull off hose for clutch.
- Disconnect brake lines.
- Disconnect spring (2), press off clip (1) and pull out shaft. See Fig 1
.
- Disconnect brake booster on pedal assembly base.
- Take off brake booster with master cylinder toward front.
- If filter screen in brake booster is clogged with dirt remove cap, holder, damper, and filter.
- Clean damper and filter screen.
