Pressure Flow Regulator: Removal
- Stop engine and operate brake pedal about 20 times with a force equal to full stop braking action to discharge the hydraulic reservoir. Pull off wires on brake warning switch.
- Remove lines from regulator to tank, from regulator to steering gear, from regulator to steering pump and from regulator to brake booster. Unscrew pressure flow regulator mounting bolts and remove regulator.
NOTE:
Solid particles of dirt could impair function of pressure flow regulator, which would lead to failure of power steering assistance or brake boost. It is important to make sure pipes and hoses are clean before installing regulator.
