Removal (Front)
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire. Disconnect pad wear sensors. Remove bottom mounting bolt and swing caliper up.
- Using extractor tool, remove pads from caliper. If pad thickness has worn to .080" (2 mm), replace pads. Only replace pads in matched sets.
- On rear calipers, remove plastic caps on caliper mounting bolts and remove mounting bolts. Remove brake caliper retainer clip.
- Pull brake caliper off toward front. Remove outer and then inner brake pad (inner brake pad is located in piston with a spring).
