Installation 325e, 528e, 533i, 633CSi & 733i With ZF 4HP-22

To install, reverse removal procedure, noting the following: Clean out all transmission oil cooler lines. Check for correct engagement of torque converter in transmission by measuring distance from front of transmission case to torque converter-to-drive plate lugs. Distance should be about .50" (12 mm).
Coat speed and reference mark sensors with anti-seize compound prior to installation. When installing speed and reference mark sensors, Black plug of speed sensor faces ring gear and Gray plug of reference mark sensor faces flywheel.
When installing oil cooler lines, check condition of line-to-case gaskets and replace if necessary. Fill transmission with new fluid and adjust transmission control linkage
