Centrifugal Governor: Reassembly

  1. Reverse disassembly procedures, noting the following: When installing governor piston make sure it slides easily into governor bushing. Remove spring clip and balance weight.
  2. Slide parking lock gear with centrifugal governor on to output shaft, install centrifugal governor on parking lock gear and tighten to specification. Heat bearing race to about 175° F (80° C) and slide on to output shaft.
