Front Suspension Assembly: Removal
- Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove wheel assemblies. Remove brake line bracket and clamp from strut assemblies. Disconnect ground wire and brake pad wear indicator from left brake assembly. Remove brake calipers and hang them out of the way.
- Disconnect steering linkage from steering gear arm. Remove steering gear mount bolts and hang steering gear.
- Remove engine mount-to-axle carrier nuts. Partially drain radiator and disconnect top radiator hose from engine.
- Attach engine sling and suspend engine with hoist. Support axle carrier with a floor jack. Remove nuts from top of strut assemblies. Remove axle carrier bolts and carefully lower front suspension assembly.
