Idle Mixture

  1. Remove hose from collector to carbon canister. Connect CO test connecting tool (13 0 070) with adapter (13 0 100) on exhaust manifold. Connect CO tester and check value. See CO LEVEL SPECIFICATIONS.

  2. CO level at idle speed should NOT be changed by pulling plug off oxygen sensor. To adjust CO level, drill a hole in plug on air flow sensor using removal tool (13 11 092).
  3. Screw removal tool (13 1 094) into plug. Knock tool and plug out of air flow sensor with sharp impact.
  4. Insert adjuster tool (13 1 060) into plug hole, and adjust engine speed by turning control screw. After completion, install new plug.
