Removal & Installation (3 Series)
- Disconnect battery positive cable from junction block on firewall. Remove air cleaner with air flow sensor. Note position and unplug connectors from sensors near end of starter.
- Unscrew support and line near starter. Drain radiator coolant. Disconnect heater hose directly over starter. Remove nuts and starter. To install, reverse removal procedure.
