Cylinder Head: Inspection

Cylinder head may be machined if necessary. On 2.7L engine, minimum height from engine block mating surface to valve cover surface is 4.909" (124.70 mm). On 3.2L engine, minimum height is 5.063" (128.6 mm). Use a .012" (.30 mm) thicker head gasket if cylinder head is machined.
