Removal (318i & 325e)

  1. Disconnect battery ground. Remove steering wheel, insulation panel under left side of dashboard and nuts for trim below instrument cluster. Remove trim.
  2. Unscrew screws attaching trim above instrument panel. Pull out trim. Pull out instrument cluster part way. Push slider up on wiring combination plug and unplug wiring from cluster. Remove cluster.
