Center Bearing: Installation

  1. If replacing bearing, press new bearing into mount.
  2. Ensure dust guard is positioned on driveshaft, and press center mount onto drive shaft so it is flush with dust guard.
  3. Install clamping sleeve, washer and rubber bushing on front drive shaft section. Apply molybendum disulfide grease to splines.
  4. Position match marks on drive shaft sections, then reassemble drive shaft. Tighten clamping sleeve. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
