Rear Axle Wheel Bearings: Installation

Pull in wheel bearing assembly with special tool 33 4 041. For 323i, 325e/i and cars with ABS from 1986 on use 33 4 049. See Fig 1 .
Use special tool 33 4 047. See Fig 1 .
Insert circlip.
Pull in stub axle with special tool 33 4 041, 33 4 045 and 33 4 048. See Fig 2 .
Install and pull in axle shaft using special tool 33 2 110.
Drive in lockplate with special tool 33 4 050 and 00 5 000.
To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
