Removal & Installation (535i, 535is, 635CSi & L6)

Disconnect negative battery cable. On 5351 and 535is, drain coolant and remove expansion tank. On all models, detach heater hose from heater control valve. Remove bolt from top of starter (it may be necessary to bend wrench to gain access to bolt). Disconnect wiring and remove starter. To install, reverse removal procedure.
