Thrust Bearing Alignment

  1. With flywheel installed, check crankshaft end play. If end play exceeds 0.0069" (0.174 mm), an oversize thrust bearing must be installed.
  2. Standard thrust bearing width is 1.1820-1.1836". Thrust bearings are available with widths 1.1900-1.1915" and 1.1980-1.1996" oversize.
