4 Cyl. Models: Removal

Raise and support vehicle and remove wheel. Place jack under control arm. Remove upper shock absorber mounting nut and compress shock. Remove lower retaining nut and remove shock absorber. Remove bolts securing output shaft to half shaft. Lower jack, rotating control arm down until coil spring can be removed then remove spring.
