Column Lock & Ignition Switch: Removal

Remove steering wheel as previously described. Disconnect choke cable from carburetor, pull choke control knob and cable through instrument panel, detach heater controls, then remove panel trim sections and lower panel section. Remove instrument panel. Disconnect ignition switch electrical leads from harness. Drill out shear screws. Remove clamp plate and withdraw lock and switch assembly.
