Valve Stem Oil Seal & Valve Spring Replacement
- With cylinder head removed, use suitable tool (18G-45) to compress valve springs. Remove keepers, valve spring cups, springs, and valve spring seats. Remove valve stem oil seal (intake valves only) and remove valve.
- To install, place valve into guide, followed by spring seat (if equipped). Slide and oil seal down each intake valve stem and fit over valve guide. Install spring seat, springs and spring cups. Compress spring and install keepers.
