R-16 (1969-72)

While rotating hub, torque nut to 25 ft. lbs. (3.455 mkg). Loosen nut 1/4 of a turn. Using a suitable dial indicator, check that bearing play is 0.002 - 0.004" (0.05 - 0.101 mm). Adjust nut if necessary until bearing play is within limits and install cotter pin.
