Input Shaft Ball Bearing, Replacing: Procedure

-- Remove the ball bearing circlip for the input shaft.

The transmission housing can be attached to the Transmission Support :VW353  for this procedure.

-- Drive out the ball bearing -1- with Seal/Bearing Installer - Sleeve : 32-109  -2-.

Ball bearing installation position: the groove -arrow- all around on the ball bearing points downward to the transmission housing.

-- Press in the ball bearing -1- while using the following tools for this purpose:

• 2 -  Seal/Bearing Installer - Sleeve :32-109 
• 3 -  Drive Sleeve :30-20 
• 4 -  Press Piece - Multiple Use :VW412
