Transmission Fluid Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
Vehicles with end panel on crossbrace:
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and nut -2-.
-- Remove the end panel -1- for the crossbrace.
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit :SMN372500 underneath.
CAUTION:
Risk of injury due to fluid escaping.
Irritation and injury to the skin and eyes are possible.
- Wear protective eyewear.
- Wear safety gloves.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the oil pump -1-. When removing the oil pump, the transmission drains abruptly.
-- Drain the transmission fluid.
-- After draining the transmission fluid, release and disconnect the connector -2-.
