ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the ATF. Refer to ATF, Draining and Filling  .

Vehicles with end panel on crossbrace:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and nut -2-.

-- Remove the end panel -1- for the crossbrace.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses using the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm :3094  .

-- To catch escaping coolant, place a cleaning cloth underneath.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the transmission support. Refer to Rear Transmission Mount, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the heat shield -1-.

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit :SMN3725  underneath.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2 and 3- and the bracket.

-- Guide out the ATF cooler to the rear.

-- Remove the ATF cooler -2- from the ATF pipe -1-.

-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set :VAS 6122  .

-- Remove the ATF pipe from the transmission fluid pan.
