Risk of fire and explosion due to fuel vapor

Fuel vapor may escape.

Place the suction hose of a powered exhaust extracting system near the installation opening of the fuel tank.

Risk of fire due to escaping fuel

It is possible that the fuel pump may start up

Switch the ignition off.
Place the vehicle key and other start authorization systems (such as smartphones) outside of the vehicle interior.

There are health risks

Fuel can be absorbed through the skin, the respiratory system or by swallowing. This can lead to acute and chronic health complications.

Avoid skin contact with fuel. Wear fuel-resistant gloves.
