Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes
The procedure applies to the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-, Camshaft Adjustment Valve 2 -N208-, Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318- and Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 2 -N319-.
Removing the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- on 2.9L Engines with particulate filter:
-- Remove the right tower brace. Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Lift the clamp -arrow- and remove the coolant hose.
Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- removing on 3.0L Engine with Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- :
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Move the retainer -arrow- and move the Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- to the side.
Removing the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 2 -N208- on 2.9L Engines with particulate filter:
-- Remove the left tower brace. Refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Release the catch -arrow- and remove the vacuum hose -1- at the same time do not damage it.
