A/C Compressor Bracket, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner for the A/C compressor. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER FOR A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .

-- All models except A8: remove the A/C compressor from the bracket and tie it up to the left side. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .

-- A8: remove the A/C compressor. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3- and the bracket -1- for the A/C compressor.
