• When installing, install all heat shield boots back in the same positions.

Audi Q7/Q8

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

All vehicles except Audi Q7/Q8

-- Remove the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for All

-- If installed, check the heat shield boot.

-- Remove the connection -2- by pressing the release buttons on both sides.

-- Mark the installation position of the vent opening at the oil separator cover -A-.

-- Remove the cover -1-, to do so, insert a screwdriver -B- as shown under the tabs all around and release the cover -arrow C-.

-- Remove the cover together with the individual parts.
