Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensors -G495- / -G497-, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).

• The hot bolt paste must not get on the slots on the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- cylinder bank 1 (right) installation position:

-- Align the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- :

• Angle -α- = 5°.
