Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front coolant pipe. Refer to COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

2.9L engine:

-- Loosen the screw-type clamp -2- and remove the air duct hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-. Remove the lower air duct pipe -1-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the air duct hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the left front coolant pipe.

3.0L engine:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the left front coolant pipe.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -arrow- at the same time to not damage it.

-- Remove the bolts -1 to 7- and remove the coolant pump.
