Overview - Coolant Pipes, 3.0L Engine-Side

• The arrows on the coolant pipes and ends of coolant hoses must align.

1. Left Front Coolant Pipe
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .
2. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
3. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
4. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
5. Front Coolant Pipe
   • With seal
   • Replace the seal after removal.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .
6. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
7. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
8. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
9. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
10. Coolant Connection
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT HOUSING, RIGHT FRONT COOLANT CONNECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
11. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing

    • 9 Nm
13. Large Right Rear Coolant Pipe
    • Removing and Installing:
      • Refer to LARGE RIGHT REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE WITHOUT PARTICULATE FILTER 
      • Refer to LARGE RIGHT REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE WITH PARTICULATE FILTER

    • Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .

Coolant connection or plug at front right of cylinder head

Depending on the equipment/version a coolant connection -1- or a plug -3- is installed at the front right of the cylinder head.

-- Cylinder Head, Front Right Coolant Connection or Plug, Removing and Installing. Refer to FRONT RIGHT PLUG ON CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Tightening specification: 9 Nm

Depending on the model or equipment/version a coolant connection -1- with two or one connections is installed at the rear right of the cylinder head.

-- Cylinder Head, Rear Right Coolant Connection, Removing and Installing. Refer to CYLINDER HEAD, REAR RIGHT COOLANT CONNECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Tightening specification: 9 Nm
