Small Right Rear Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING, 2.9L ENGINE .

-- Install the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles without particulate filter: loosen the screw-type clamp -1- and push the catalytic converter slightly to the side.

-- Vehicle with particulate filter: remove the right catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE WITH PARTICULATE FILTER .

-- Lift the clamp -2- and remove the coolant hose.
