Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the seal and O-ring after removal.
• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
• Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Coat the O-ring and seal with coolant and install them.

-- Press on the seal all the way onto the coolant pipe.

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If removed, install the upper air duct pipe. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, WITH RADIATOR INSTALLED 2.9L ENGINE .

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING, 2.9L ENGINE .
