Differential, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Install the differential -1-.

-- While doing so, do not lift the differential at the angular contact ball bearing cage -2-, but rather grab inside the hole -arrow- for the right flange shaft.

-- Replace the O-ring -A- on the final drive cover and coat it with transmission fluid.

-- Insert the final drive cover -1- and tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Install the right flange shaft. Refer to Right Flange Shaft, Removing and Installing  .

-- If removed, install the left flange shaft. Refer to Left Flange Shaft, Removing and Installing  .

-- Refer to Transmission, Installing .

-- Add transmission fluid and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid, Draining and Filling .
