Outer Rear Three-Point Seat Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

The rear three-point seat belt with Driver Side Rear Seat Belt Tensioner Igniter -N196- or Passenger Side Rear Seat Belt Tensioner Igniter -N197- will be called the rear three-point seat belt in the information that follows.

The following information describes the removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle as an example.

-- Switch off the ignition and electrical equipment.

-- Place the vehicle key and other start authorization systems (such as smartphones) outside of the vehicle interior.

-- Remove the front sill panel. Refer to Front Sill Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the rear sill panel. Refer to Rear Sill Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the outer rear belt end fitting. Refer to OUTER REAR BELT END FITTING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

-- Remove the bolt -4-.

-- Remove the outer rear three-point seat belt -2- from the mount -1- in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
