Left, right and center headrest guides for vehicles without center armrest
-- Remove the backrest cover with the backrest cushion from the backrest frame. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Move the backrest cover with the backrest cushion -1- as far up as possible until the headrest pipe -4- welded in the backrest frame and the headrest guide -2- is visible.
-- Push the headrest guide tabs inward -arrows A- using a screwdriver -5-, and at the same time, remove the headrest guide from the backrest frame.
Center headrest guides for vehicles with center armrest
The headrest guide is destroyed during removal.
-- Fold the center armrest forward to avoid damaging the headliner.
-- Insert the INTERNAL PULLER (Kukko 21-1-E) :VAS 251 637 as far as possible into the headrest guide and tighten the nut.
-- Position the Puller - Unit Injector :T10055 with the Puller - Unit Injector - Adapter 3 :T10055/3 on the Internal Puller (Kukko 21-1E) :VAS 251 637 and remove the headrest guide.
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Conditions
- Insert the headrest guide and push into the mounts, until the tabs lock correctly in the backrest frame.
