Headrest, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seat to the lowest position.

-- Tilt the front backrest approximately 45°.

Vehicles with standard seat

-- Move the headrest all the way up.

-- Push on the left collar under the headrest from above -A arrows- and pull the headrest upward and out at the same time.

Tip

This will unlock the latch on the headrest guide -B arrows-.

Vehicles with sport seat

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to Backrest Cover, Removing and Installing  .

-- Loosen the upper molding -1- from the backrest frame, using the T-Handle Hook :3438  .

Conditions

• The moldings -2- and -3- will not be disengaged.

-- Reach in between the backrest cover and the backrest frame -arrow A- and feel for the release button -1- for the left headrest guide -2- under the cover.

-- Push the release button -1- downward -arrows B- and at the same time remove the headrest -4- from the headrest guides -2- and -3-.

Tip

The headrest can only be removed with difficulty.
