Instrument Cluster KX2 With Instrument Cluster Control Module J285, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Move the steering wheel as far to the rear and down as possible. Use the full steering column adjustment range for this.
-- Switch off the ignition. Place the vehicle key and other start authorization systems (such as smartphones) outside of the vehicle interior.
-- Remove the instrument cluster trim. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Release the clamp -2- -arrow A- and pivot the instrument cluster -1- to the back -arrow B-.
-- Pull the instrument cluster -1- out just far enough until it is touching the steering wheel.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Remove the bracket -3-.
-- Remove the instrument cluster -1- between the steering wheel and the instrument panel.
