Headlamp, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:
-- Check the adjuster -2- on the headlamp. To do so, the adjusting nut -1- must be gently screwed on -arrows-.
-- Rotate the adjusting nut all the way down but do not tighten it.
-- Align the headlamp housing to the fender edge.
Condition
- The headlamp must be flush with the fender.
Tip
Tightening the bolt automatically turns the adjusting nut on the adjuster against the headlamp housing mounting point and secures the housing.
-- If the left/right front headlamp Left Front Headlamp -MX1- / Right Front Headlamp -MX2- was replaced, then the headlamp must be activated. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
-- Refer to HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING, LED HEADLAMP , or HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING, MATRIX LED HEADLAMPS .
