Burglary Protection Control Module 3 J1193/ Burglary Protection Control Module 4 J1194, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition. Place the vehicle key and other start authorization systems (such as smartphones) outside of the vehicle interior.

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Release the retaining tabs -2-.

-- Pivot out the Burglary Protection Control Module 4 -J1194- -1- -arrow-.

-- If necessary, pry off the bracket -4- from the threaded pins.
