Connect the alcohol interlock system

-- Pay attention to the manufacturers instructions when installing and connecting the control module.

-- Connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

A1:

-- Insert fuse 20 A in the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location SC18.

-- Insert fuse 7.5 A in the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location SC45.

A3:

-- Install the fuse 10 A in the fuse panel single fuse at the Fuse Panel C -SC- in the left front of the footwell.

Continuation for all vehicles

A4 / A5(F5):

-- Insert a 20 A fuse in Fuse Panel 3 - ST3- in location 5 in the left side of the luggage compartment.

Continuation for all vehicles

A5(FU):

-- Insert fuse 10 A in the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location 11.

Continuation for all vehicles

A6 / A7(4K):

-- Insert the Fuse 15 (On Fuse Panel M) -SM15- 20 A in the left front side of the luggage compartment.

Continuation for all vehicles

A8:

-- Insert a 20 A fuse in Fuse Panel J -SJ- in location SJ12 in the luggage compartment on the left side.

Continuation for all vehicles

Q2:

-- Insert fuse 20 A to the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location SC38.

-- Insert fuse 7.5 A to the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location SC48.

Q4 e-tron:

-- Connect the fuse 10 A in the left front footwell in the Fuse Panel C -SC- on the additional fuse panel.

Q6 e-tron / A6 e-tron:

-- Connect the fuse 10 A to the Fuse Panel G -SG- at location 7 in the front passenger footwell.

Q8 e-tron:

-- Connect the fuse 20 A to the Fuse Panel C -SC- at location SC3 in the front passenger footwell.

e-tron GT:

-- Insert a 20 A fuse in Relay and Fuse Panel 4 -SR4- in location SK5 in the luggage compartment on the right side.

-- Insert a 20 A fuse in Fuse Panel 3 -ST3- in location 6 in the left side of the luggage compartment.

-- Insert a 20 A fuse in Fuse Panel J -SJ- in location SJ9 in the luggage compartment on the left side.

Perform software update

Vehicles with LIN bus connection:

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select "flash".

-- Select "Enter SVM code".

-- Perform the software update with SVM code -46A510-.

Start the alcohol interlock system.

-- Perform a function test following manufacturer instructions.
