Front Passenger Airbag Unit With Igniter, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to Glove Compartment, Removing and Installing .

-- Release the connector lock -1- with a flat-head screwdriver in direction of -arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 4- from the Front Passenger Airbag Igniter 1 -N131-, Front Passenger Airbag Igniter 2 -N132- and the Front Passenger Airbag Release Valve Igniter -N491-, as shown in the example.

-- Unclip the cable holder from the airbag unit.

Conditions

• Secure the airbag from falling.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3-.

-- Store the airbag with the cushion facing upward.

-- If necessary, release the left and right retainers using a flat-head screwdriver.

-- Remove the airbag -2- downward.
