Connector On Airbag, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to Airbag Unit with Igniter, Removing and Installing .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Release the connector lock -2- for the connector -1- with a flat-head screwdriver in direction of -arrow-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 3- from the Driver Airbag Igniter -N95- and Driver Airbag Release Valve Igniter -N490-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -4- by releasing the retaining tab.
-- Disengage and remove the wiring harness -2- at the brackets.
