Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
-- Loosen the front wheel housing liner in the front area and push toward the rear. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
CAUTION:
Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.
-- Remove the nut -1- and then remove the front airbag crash sensor -2- from the lock carrier.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
-- To do this pull out the connector lock -2-, push down in direction of -arrow-, and disconnect the connector -1- on the crash sensor.
