Test requirements
Conditions
- No battery charger connected.
- Battery -A- is connected.
- Battery temperature at least +10 °C (50 °F).
-- Perform the "-A- 12 V Battery, Checking" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
-- Evaluate the test results.
| Resting voltage in volt | Charge level in % | Evaluation of the procedure |

| 13.7 to 13.4 | 100 to 80 | Charge level is OK |
| 13.4 to 13.25 | 80 to 50 | Reducing the charge level, recharging battery |
| 13.25 to 12.5 | 50 to 15 | Discharging the battery, Recharging the battery |
| Less than 12.4 | Less than 15 | Battery severely discharged, may be able to be recharged |
| Closing protection relay, recharging the battery | ||
| If the protection relay does not close, replace the battery |
