Spoiler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Raise the spoiler. Refer to the appropriate Service Information.

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push in the foam housing -1- in the rear lid.

-- Open the foam housing and remove the Rear Lid Closing Aid Motor -V382- -3-, then place down.

-- Remove the foam housing.

-- Reach through the opening and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Free up the connector housing -1-.

-- Remove the left and right water drain hose -1- from the mount.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- using the Body Socket:T40078  .

-- Loosen the cover retainers -3- using the scraper number 3 from the Scraper Set:VAS 6845  -1-.

-- Pry out the spoiler with the drive unit -2-.
